Before Church the other night we were sitting down eating dinner and Amaris said, "Hey look at that squirrel!" Michael looked over and it was a little gray mouse jumping and running all around the outside porch. Of course, the meal stopped and we all ran to the door to look. Yes, it was having a great time running all over my outdoor furniture!! Michael opened the door and I started screaming, "Shut the door"! While I was screaming, I said "Oh my goodness, we need a cat!" Okay first off, wrong thing to say around little kids!! They started screaming saying "Yes, we're getting a cat!" Papaw came home and we told him the story and he said that he has a cat a work that we could have. So, we stopped by his work on the way to church to look at it! Very cute and sweet cat!
Then, we got to church my sweet children told everyone that we had a mouse and that we were getting a cat to go with it! They have watched so much Tom and Jerry that they are trilled that we MIGHT get a cat to go with our Jerry.
A couple of days later they were asking me if we were still going to get the cat. Well, after more thought about it, I was not too sure about the whole cat deal, so I told Amaris that she should pray about it. A few minutes later I see her looking outside and praying, "Dear Jesus, can we have a cat, please?"
