My top 2 goals for 2009

It is that time of year again....GOALS for 2009.
I have tons of goals this year which I will share when I have more time. Here are my top two goals. #1 Healthy diet and regular exercise. #2 Read the Bible in a year.

For my first goal of eating better I am using the http://www.50millionpounds.com/. Check it out! It is really neat. Michael and I are both in a family challenge with the Jackson's, so we are using this site to help us with food and menu ideas. I am also using the food journal and the exercise log to help me keep track of everything. We are members of a really nice gym and I have several workout buddies to help me stay focused. I love to run so one of my extended goals is to run a half marathon this year. Workout is not hard for me, but eating is my weakness. I love to eat out. Maybe it is because I am home so much...it is a fun getaway. But I also LOVE to cook at home and be creative with healthy foods. My only problem is if I do not plan ahead then we end up eating quick and easy foods that are unhealthy. I have to be better organized. Okay...speaking of that I better move on.

I am also reading through the Bible this year. Being close to God is really important to me. I want to know His secrets. When I spend time fellowshiping with God my life is full. I feel better and think better. So, I found this site and I love it! http://www.oneyearbibleblog.com/ and it uses www.biblegateway.com for your daily reading. From what I can tell in 2 days it seems like everything on the blog is "right on". But you will have to decide for yourself. There will be days that I will be too busy to read this online, but the cool thing is you can download the bible reading to your ipod. Check it out and let me know what you think.
