My highlights for this year.
We were able to move in with Grammy the day she moved into her new house in Bastrop. We stayed for 3 months. Mike and I lived in her dining room. :) We thought it would only be a couple of days, so the girls slept on air mattress. It was perfect and God blessed both us and Grammy in a tough time.
February We found out that Ryen's shunt had stopped working. After a few more tests we found out it was completely disconnected. Her health was normal and so were her scans. We all cried as this sort of the thing should not happen. What a miracle!!!
March 7th Michael surprised us all when he bought us a new house. Our dream home and it came with surprises that we found out just a few days/weeks of buying it. When we looked at the house it was the fall and the trees were bare. We had no idea how beautiful the landscaping and the yard would be in the spring and fall. We could live outdoors. Then right before the movers came we found out that my Daddy's company did all my cabinets. We had no idea and actually desired a another house that had a lot of custom built ins. Only God knew how stinking awesome it is to have sometime of value in our forever home. Evans Cabinets are top of the line and it is pure joy to be able to share meals around a kitchen that has cabinets of the company that my Daddy invested into for so many years.
The surprises from Heaven were not over. In April, I got real puny. Had a hard time finding the energy to unpack my 3 car garage full of boxes. I struggled riding my bike with the girls on the trails. It took me a while to figure it out this time. I was pregnant! I was shocked. It took years to get pregnant with Liv. I was older, no regular, and just plain crazy busy moving houses. What a JOY and DELIGHT little Jake-Michael is to us already. 3 weeks old and he was sent from heaven to bless us. Oh, he is yummy!
Mom has a contract pending on the Brenham house. She closes in a week or so.
We are having a new baby cousin in a month.
We have been so blessed this year. God is so good!
