Almost everyday the girls do Table Time. That day they were doing crafts. They were having fun playing with markers, scissors, glue and paper! Well, they got bored with paper, so they started doing make-up on themselves. Hey, I let them! Come on, girls just love glamor!! They were having so much fun! Even though they DO need some training, I was impressed with their art!

After I cleaned up Amaris, she still looked like had a major bruise all over her forehead! Camille was ready for bed and screaming! So, I am getting her ready for bed and I hear Ryen fall off the couch! She runs to me and I tell her that she is alright and give her a side hug. She says, "Mom, I heard my arm crack". I look down and her elbow is out of socket. Oh, My Goodness! We start praying! Ryen is confessing the Word and I call Michael and tell him to come home and pray on his way! He was at a side job and just walked out!
Ryen was so brave and barely cried. She confessed that "God keeps all my bones and not a one are broken"! Meanwhile, I called the EMS. Michael got home before they got here, but when they did arrive Ryen still had this make-up on. They thought it was cute....I guess! It never got washed off until the next day! We went to the local hospital and they confirmed that she broke her arm. Well, it broke into the growth plate, so she had to go see a surgeon that night in Austin. After more hours in the ER, she went into surgery at 10:30pm. They put three pins in to hold the bones together and a cast. Her surgery went great and the doc that performed the surgery was from South Africa. He was super nice and we had peace when we met him.
We spent the night at the hospital and the beds were okay! Ryen actually enjoyed it as she was treated like royalty! At 3:30 am, Mom and I ordered a sandwich and Ryen was eating ice cream, goldfish and juice! The nurse special ordered her pancakes with sausage for breakfast. Then before we were released she went to the play room and had the best time painting and cooking in the kitchen. Ryen never once cried because of pain. The worst part of the whole day was them giving her an IV. She did not like it and I did not blame her. After the third poke and two nurses they found a vein! She is so smart!! To relieve pain when the nurses messed with her, she counted as high as she could, which was to 30. After it was all over she could not wait to get the pink cast on so all the girls could sign it. No Boys are allowed to sign it, including her daddy!
She has two more weeks left. So, Ryen has met her $3000 deducible for the year and the devil has to repay us seven times what he stole from us!
She amazes me and is the strongest little girl ever! I am so proud of her! She had very little fear! We have come so far in that area!

I have to brag on Michael for a moment! He is an amazing Dad! He stayed home with Amaris and Camille while I took Ryen to the first hospital. He fed Cami and got her to bed. Then he play with Amaris. He said that Amaris was worried the whole day about Ryen. She kept asking him where was Ryen and was she okay! They are so close! Michael was reading a book to sissy and he looked over and she had fallen asleep standing up! He took a picture. So cute! Also, I had to stay at the hospital with Ryen, so Michael brought Cami home and got her to bed. She is still nursing, so she spent her first half of a night away from her mommy!!

Oh, I almost forgot something else that happened that was funny. Ryen also cut Amaris' hair that morning too! A big chuck, right in the front! How many things can happen in one day! :) Good thing we do not believe in superstition.
Happy New Year!
