Cami really might be potty training!! I am so shocked! For several days now she has come to me and said, "uhhmmm, potty, mommy"? So, I take her to the potty and she goes! Her diapers are still wet, and I know that if I took them off and let her go bare bottom, she would probably get trained. However, I hate cleaning up tee tee off the floor and it is really nasty on the carpet. maybe I will try it today and see what happens!! Maybe!! I would just love it if I could cut down on the diaper buying! I was telling my cousin, Megan about her going potty and she started laughing. She said,"I think it will be funny if she is potty trained before she is weaned".
Ryen is really proud of herself. She wants everyone to know that she has learned to write a cursive "i" an "u". I am teaching her cursive and it is really tough. We were not planning on teaching cursive, but Abeka sent us the cursive curriculum, so I decided to go against the norm and do it! Ryen is super smart and can handle the intensity. So, the first day after teaching her the little "i", we were talking about how tough it is to learn cursive handwriting. And she told me, "Yeah mom, it is really hard, but I can do it". I shouted, "Yes, you can and I LOVE your attitude". While we are working on it each day I can tell that it is a challenge for her, but once she is done she LOVES the praise and the accomplishment.
Well, all the girls are awake and my quiet morning is over! Amaris is screaming for chocolate milk and that Ryen is looking at her. And Ryen wants a waffle! Better run!
