Ryen is 7!
On September 8th, my Ryen turned 7 years old! She wanted to have a Laua and Flamingo party. We had it a little later this year. Katherine got married on September 5th and I was in the wedding, so we decided to do it later in the month.

This was my first attempt at a fruit bouquet. Everyone loved it and the kids ate it up!
Mom bought this really cool backdrop. It really made my living room look so cute! And with the music it turned into a dance area for the girls!

Friends!
We did tie dye shirts for the craft time! This was a BIG hit! All of the girls took their shirts home in a zip lock bag!
The group shot of the girls at the party....plus one boy! Ryen says, "Crop him out"!
Dance time!
Oh yeah!
By the time we opened gifts, the skirts were gone and the fur coats were on! I just love girls!

Ryen loved this mask she got from the Whites! Ryen and I picked out the pink robe from Nordstrom in August! She waited FOREVER to be able to wear it! And yes, she has worn it every night before bed!

Mom, Me and Polina!
Mom, thank you for putting together this party! I know you spent a lot of time and $ for this cute party! It was so cute and Ryen will never forget it! I love you!

We are BUSY!
Today Ryen's 2nd tooth fell out! She would not pull it, but waited for it to fall out on it's own! She is so adorable!
In other news: Ryen broke her ankle bone on Labor Day! Yes, she had to get a cast. She is not happy about it and would rather not discuss it at all. She got a hot pink one and black shoe to be able to walk. It took her 3 days for her to be able to walk on it! I hate it for her!
The same day we got an email posting free kittens. So, we packed up in the truck and went way out in the country and Pixie! She is a long hair Calico 7 week old kitten. She is adorable. She loves the girls and is very gentle with them. Now.....the girls are not very gentle with her, but she deals. Cami and Amaris fight over holding her. Ryen is not that close to her. She does not want her to scratch her at all. I need to post some pictures!
We started the Homeschool Co-op classes last Friday! The girls are thrilled about it! I am happy with it too. All the homeschool moms do the classes. I really like having a place for my children to interact with other kids, but I am STILL in charge and there with them. I like seeing how my children interact with other kids and adults. It is good for me to be able to where we need to work on these areas of respect towards others. We have several friends that we love and trust already going.
I am gathering my thoughts on this next school year. It is going to be full schedule. I can not wait to get it finalized and going. I still need to order school books and get their classroom totally set up! I feel behind, but then again we homeschool...I can do what I want on my time line!
Monday is Ryen's 6th birthday! She has chosen to go to Build -A - Bear with her sisters and then have cake and ice cream with the rest of the family at home! RYEN IS 6 Years OLD! Whoo!
Well, that is it for now! It is Friday Family Fun Night tonight.

Ryen First Tooth
Ryen lost her FIRST tooth on Sunday afternoon around 6 pm. It was really loose and I encouraged her to pull it herself! At first she was really nervous and did not want to do it. It had to be pulled that night and I was too chicken to do it too. Michael was gone and I really wanted him home so he could pull it! Well, she got brave and pulled it out and threw it on the ground. She was so shocked that it came out and in her own words, "freaked out". Right away it started to bleed and I told her to go get a towel while I looked for the tooth.
We decided not to do the tooth fairy. I looked up what a fairy is and I did not like what the dictionary said about a fairy.
According to the dictionary:
A fairy is one of a class of supernatural beings, generally conceived as having a diminutive human form and possessing magical powers with which they intervene in human affairs.
Being a Christian, the only supernatural beings that I want to teach my children about are the REAL supernatural beings that God created. Nothing more.
So, we chose to skip out on the fairies, but still celebrate her growing up by giving her money and praise. We made a money jar for all of her family to put coins in it when they see her. We put her tooth in a plastic bag and taped it to the jar for her to show off!
Now her other front tooth is loose and within a couple of weeks I am sure it will be falling out too.
I do have pictures.....still looking for a cord to connect to the computer!
In other news:
Awana Plans are busy and underway! Lots to do with that! Registration is happening! Teachers are picked, training is next!
Getting ready mentally for our coast trip!
Porta Potties are going good!! We had money to pay our first month's bills! :)

Awana Award Ceremony
This year I have been so busy that we decided to make our award ceremony low key and easy. And it worked. Ryen has graduated from Cubbies. She is now going to be a Spark. Wow, two years went by so fast!
