This is a fun time of year!!

I am so happy!!!!
The poison ivy is gone!!! This was the worst case ever!! Just yesterday my leg stopped itching. I hate poison ivy!!! Remember the doctor told me that I had to stop nursing due to the steroids? Well after three days of engorgement and pain, I called my OB and talked to the nurse about it! I was so miserable and was getting emotional about weaning. I knew it was not the right thing to do. My OB told me that it was fine to keep nursing and never to stop cold turkey like that as it could cause an infection. Cami was doing great and was so sweet about not nursing. I think that she really understood that she had to stop. I had given Cami some fruit chews while I was on the phone with the nurse and when I hung up I asked Cami, "Do you want Naughnee"? She threw those fruit chews down and said, "Yes"! Well, she has been nursing ever since and I am so glad! Nursing is the BEST thing ever! It is so special. Several times I had tears rolling down my face when I was trying to wean her. She woke up one time in the middle of the night and I went and held her. She put her face in my chest and was making pretend sounds like she was nursing! She was not ready to wean and neither was I!

We are getting ready for Christmas! The girls are so excited and counting down the days! The other night we went for a walk down the river walk in Bastrop and looked at the lights.

They are all saying "Cheese", but will not look at the camera!
Amaris told me after this picture, "Enough is enough"!!!
Fun Pose!!!
Here is a picture of the girls with their friends, Leanna and Ian. This picture is special to Ryen, because earlier in the day we were looking at our pictures from the riverwalk last year. Last year, we ran into some friends while we were looking at the lights. Here is the picture.

So, Ryen wanted to call a friend to go with us that night. And I told her that we did not need to call anybody, that we were just going to go and have family time. Well, I did not know until later that afternoon that Ryen had called Grampy at work and invited him to go with us and for him to take pictures!! Mom called me and told me! Well, of course they did not come, but we did run into some friends!! At the end of the lights, Leanna and Ian showed up! Ryen was so happy that her friends showed up! I guess she thought I called them or something! God is so good and always gives us the desires of our hearts! So, of course we had to take a friends picture!!
