My B-Day with my family!

We had a wonderful weekend! Did you? The weather was perfect and we had fun family time! Sunday we went to Brenham to celebrate my birthday with my family. It was so much fun!

Mom and Dad made steaks, shrimp boil and beans in a dutch oven outside, potato salad, and home grown broccoli and cauliflower. Randy and Kari came and helped mom and dad get every thing ready.

Randy had his boat there, so the girl played in it most of the day. He also took them for a ride in the wagon on the back on the lawn mower. They love being out in the country. I got some really cool gifts. Randy and Kari gave me a Coach purse. Mom and Dad gave me money, Pjs, necklace and earrings that mom made, writing notebooks and travel bag. Michael surprised me with a running watch and a waist belt that holds two water bottles, and my Gu and cell phone. I can't to use it!
My birthday was wonderful...can I have another soon? :)

Today, we tried to get things in order, but Cami just did not feel good. Over the weekend her temperature went up and she did not feel good at all. She has not been feeling 100% since she was weaned 3.5 weeks ago. She had a really bad cold and then a rash and then fever and so on and so on. So, this morning I said "enough is enough" and I called my sweet pediatrician, Dr. Woods. I knew it was her ear and sure enough it was! She had an ear infection on her right ear! But I do have to brag for a minute. Most kids have a lot of ear infections when they are infants on up to 2 and you know what she has never had one until now. In fact, I have never had to take her to the doctor for any other reason except for her well visits. The past 2 years she has been perfectly healthy. Dr. Woods commented on how healthy she has been. I praise God and I know that it was because I nursed her a lot until she was over 2!
I am so happy that all my girls are so healthy.

Today I also started a new training for running and weights. Even though I ran a good 10K I want to retrain for another 10K and get really comfortable doing them. Also, I am wanting to train some with Michael so we can go together on some races. So I am using Hal Higdon and the training guide in my Bowflex book. I like it so far. Tonight I made Michael record the final National Championship game and come work out with me to make sure I did everything right. The girls rode their bikes and Ryen came over to do some work outs too. She loves to do what ever we are doing. I looked over and she was on the floor doing push ups. It was so cute! I am okay with it too. It is good for her to see that we exercise and we are trying to set a good example for her!

Here is my new belt Michael got me for my b-day!
